About Me! I qualified with a BSc in Physiotherapy in 2008 and began my career as a Physiotherapist at John Paul the 2nd Long Term Care and Nursing Home for Children, Poland. This was the place where I understood that I want to specialise in Paediatrics and gained invaluable experience working with children who varied in diagnosis from neurological, developmental, neuromuscular and orthopaedic.
In 2010 I graduated with a Master's Degree in Physiotherapy in Academy of Physiotherapy in Wroclaw, Poland. In the same year I started postgraduate studies in Physiotherapy with specialisation in Early Intervention and Supporting the Development of Children which I graduated in 2012.
In 2011 I started working in “Miludek” Centre of Support Children’s Development, Poland. It was here that I was able to work with children who have neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, autism and autism spectrum, but also with those kids who were aggresive, had problems with concentration and had posture defects (scoliosis). I was also treating infants and premature infants with newly diagnosed neurological conditions and development delays such as positional asymmetry. It was challenging work, but ultimately rewarding. I found my special interest in therapy of kids with autism using Dynamic and Postural Reflex Integration and Tactile System Integration.
Throughout this time I took every opportunity to further my knowledge and abilities by taking numerous courses (MNRI, PNF, Mulligan Concept, Bobath Concept, three dimensial manual therapy of children’s feet defects). I started working with adults as well as I feel that is great chance for both helping people and expanding my knowledge. In October 2013 I moved to Ireland and since 2015 I am fully registered member of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapist.
If there is anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me. I very much look forward to meeting you and your child, and to working with you in the future.
