Renata Baranowska PhD, 2nd degree specialist of pediatrics (IMC 310711)
She graduated from Medical Academy in Wrocław (Poland) in 1984. She graduated with her specialities in Paediatrics and Allergology and was awarded a PhD degree at Wroclaw Medical Academy. She also graduated in her postgraduate studies in the field of Health Economics at the Warsaw University.
For 3 years she worked in Specialist Mother and Child Health Care Centre in Wrocław. In the years 1997-2007 she worked in Gryfice (Poland) in the Specialist Hospital, with the last six years as the ward head of the childrens' division. She has vast experience in the treatment of sick children and in preventive care. Since 1999 she has been running a specialist allergies treatment dispensary with full diagnosis and immunotherapy.
She constantly improves her competences taking part in numerous courses and conferences. She has several times taken part in international clinical studies. She is an author and co-author of many scientific publications and a member of many Polish and foreign Scientific Societies.
She is the founder of the the "Pomóż Dorosnąć" ("Help to grow") Foundation, while her continuing patronage over the Children's Department in the hospital in Gryfice (Poland) has lead to the creation of a fairytale Children's department fully equipped with modern facilities which resulted in winning the "Butterfly Hospitals" competition organized by the "Porozumienie bez barier" ("Communication without barriers") Foundation founded by Jolanta Kwaśniewska.
